Find Our Truly Identity Through The Art of Canvas
When i was child, The Art class or we called it KTK (Kerajinan Tangan dan Kesenian) always be my number 1 subject. We have a free time for exploration our imagination, feeling thru paint & color.
Beside, tech era makes everything instant. AI will be our #1 hero solution for any struggle, include creative block idea. Children slowly forgot about the art of painting. AI control us a standard of beauty without a meaning.
However, does the beauty without meaning is nothing?
November, 2023, Kompas Gramedia took a great action for bring back the canvas alive in tech era.
I joined them as a volunteer to teach them how they can put their imagination thru canvas. It was a please time. Saw them interact with only their canvas. Put all their imagination and bring their own idea of “what should i do to save the earth?”
Indirectly, the art of canvas also teach us to find our identity. Dig their own creativity can lead them to find their self.
“what can i do to make the environment better?”
“does the little thing i do cam impact the world?”
They have a free time to put their creativity and tell people about their action without any words-just a potrait.
So they will slowly aware that each of them is valuable and have their own part of action.
